These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website Studeli.com and all related services (collectively, our "Services"). Studeli B.V. ("Studeli," "we," "us," or "our") is a company registered in the Netherlands, providing AI-powered educational technology services.

Who Can Use Our Services

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, you'll need a parent or legal guardian to oversee your use of our Services. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and everything that happens when your account is used.

Our Educational Platform

Our Services provide AI-powered educational tools including study material generation, practice questions, and learning environments. While we use advanced technology to create educational content, you understand that AI-generated content is provided "as is" and should be used as a learning aid, not as a sole source of information.

While we strive for accuracy in our AI-generated educational content and practice questions, we cannot guarantee their complete accuracy or suitability for specific educational requirements. Users should verify and validate all AI-generated content before use in formal educational contexts.

We offer both private and public learning spaces. When you create content on our platform, you control its visibility. Private content is only accessible to people you choose to share it with, while public content can be viewed by other platform users.

Plans and Payments

We offer different subscription tiers (Free, Basic, and Premium) to meet various needs. Each tier has specific features and usage limits. When you subscribe to a paid tier:

• You'll be billed in advance (monthly or annually) through our payment providers
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• We may offer free trials of premium features

AI Features and Usage Limits

Our platform uses AI technology to generate educational content and practice questions. Each subscription tier has specific generation limits:

• Daily limits on study material generation
• Daily limits on practice question generation
• Limitations on concurrent learning environments
• Specific features available per subscription tier

These limits help ensure fair usage and maintain service quality for all users. Premium subscribers receive higher generation allowances.

Your Content and Our Content

When you use our Services, you'll interact with different types of content. We own our platform, including its design, code, and features. When you create content using our platform ("User Content"), you keep ownership of your content but give us permission to host and display it.

For AI-generated content, we provide you a license to use it for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, you should review and verify any AI-generated content before relying on it.

Using Our Services

You agree to use our Services responsibly and legally. This means:

• Using the platform for learning and educational purposes
• Respecting other users and their content
• Following academic integrity standards
• Maintaining the security of your account
• Not trying to break or misuse our systems

We don't allow:

• Automated access to our Services without permission

In shared learning environments, you agree to:

We care about your privacy and handle your data responsibly. We store data securely and give you control over your content's visibility. While our servers are located in various countries including the Netherlands and United States, we protect your data according to applicable laws.

For educational data, we:

Changes to Our Service

We're constantly improving our Services and may make changes over time. We may add or remove features, change pricing, or update these Terms. We'll notify you about significant changes through email or notices on our platform. If you continue using our Services after changes take effect, you agree to the updated terms.

For subscription changes, we'll give you advance notice of any price modifications. If you don't agree with the changes, you can cancel your subscription before they take effect.

Ending Use of Our Services

You can stop using our Services at any time. If you cancel a paid subscription, you'll still have access until the end of your billing period, but we don't provide refunds for partial periods.

We may also need to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Have unpaid fees
• Show signs of fraudulent activity, including the content reasons specified below
• Harm other users or our Services

If your account is terminated, we'll only keep information we're legally required to maintain.

Besides terminating your account, we reserve the right to remove specific content from your account if:

• It violates intellectual property rights or copyright laws
• It contains inappropriate, harmful, or offensive material
• It violates our academic integrity standards or promotes academic dishonesty
• It contains malicious code or poses security risks
• It's flagged by our AI content moderation systems or reported by users
• It's required by law or court order
• It's being used to circumvent our platform's intended educational purposes
• It violates the privacy or rights of other users

We strive to be fair and transparent in our content moderation decisions. If you believe content was removed in error, please contact us with details about your case.

Our Promises and Limitations

We work hard to provide reliable educational services, but we can't guarantee perfection. Our Services are provided "as is," and we're not responsible for:

• Brief service interruptions
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Third-party services or content
• Your educational outcomes
• Loss of data if you don't back it up

If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 6 months. This doesn't apply to anything we can't legally limit under Dutch or your local laws.

Resolving Disagreements

If you have concerns about our Services, please contact us first. We strive to resolve issues amicably. If we can't resolve a dispute informally, it will be handled by the courts in the Netherlands, though we may bring proceedings in your country when necessary. These Terms are governed by Dutch law, but you retain any consumer protection rights under your local laws.

We'll try to resolve any disputes within 60 days of receiving written notice. During this time, we ask that you work with us before starting any legal proceedings.

Other Legal Points

These Terms represent our complete agreement about our Services. If any part of these Terms doesn't hold up in court, the rest remain valid. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to others (like if our company is acquired), but you need our permission to transfer yours.

If we don't immediately act on a violation of these Terms, that doesn't mean we're giving up our right to do so later.
