Studying is often a team effort. Whether you're working on a group project, helping a friend prepare for an exam, or just want to share great study materials you've found, collaboration makes learning better. Today, we're excited to announce new features that make saving and sharing your study materials easier than ever.
User Accounts: Your Study Materials, Always Available
We've enhanced our account system to ensure your study materials are always there when you need them. Here's what this means for you:
Never Lose Your Work
Remember the panic of losing your notes before an exam? With your Studeli account, all your study materials are automatically saved and synced. Whether you're on your laptop at home, your tablet at the library, or your phone on the bus, your materials are always accessible.
Pick Up Where You Left Off
Life is busy. Sometimes you have to stop studying mid-chapter. With our improved account system, your progress is saved automatically. Come back later and continue exactly where you left off - your reading position, completed practice questions, and progress tracking are all preserved.
Secure and Private
Your study materials are yours. We take privacy seriously, which is why all your content is securely stored and only accessible to you - unless you choose to share it.
Public Sharing: Spread the Knowledge
Here's where things get really exciting. You can now share your study materials with anyone through public links!
How It Works
- Create a study guide or any study material
- Click the share button
- Choose to make it public
- Copy the link and share it anywhere
That's it! Anyone with the link can view your study materials, even if they don't have a Studeli account.
Why Share?
Help Your Classmates: Created an amazing study guide for your biology exam? Share it with your study group. Everyone benefits, and explaining concepts to others actually helps you remember them better too.
Build a Study Community: Some students are creating study materials and sharing them widely - helping hundreds of other students preparing for the same exams or learning the same subjects.
Showcase Your Work: Whether for college applications, portfolios, or just personal pride, your study materials demonstrate your understanding and dedication to learning.
Give Back: Maybe someone helped you when you were struggling. Now you can pay it forward by creating and sharing quality study materials.
Sharing Best Practices
- Add context: When sharing a link, let people know what the material covers and who it's best suited for
- Keep it quality: Materials you share reflect on you, so make sure they're accurate and helpful
- Respect copyrights: Only share materials you've created or have permission to share
Real Students, Real Impact
Since launching this feature in beta, we've seen some amazing examples:
"I shared my organic chemistry study guide with my class's group chat. Everyone was so grateful, and explaining the concepts while creating it actually helped me understand them better!" - Sarah, Chemistry Major
"Our study group each creates materials for different chapters, then we share everything. It's like having five study partners creating content for you." - Marcus, Business Student
Privacy Controls
We know not everything is meant to be shared. That's why you have complete control:
- Private (Default): Only you can see your materials
- Public: Anyone with the link can view
- Change anytime: Made something public by accident? You can make it private again instantly
What About Collaboration?
We hear you! Many of you have asked about real-time collaboration features where multiple people can work on study materials together. It's on our roadmap, and we're working on making this happen. Stay tuned!
